DONORS SPOTLIGHT

OUR THANKS TO

OAHC would like to thank new donor, Arlington Rotary Club, for their “Dancing with the Stars” grant awarded to the clinic in May of 2024. The local organization supports community service projects around Arlington and the world. We are pleased to be an Arlington Rotary Club grant recipient.  Thank you!

Thanks to a generous grant from Women Inspiring Philanthropy (WIP) - a community of women that seeks to transform lives in Arlington, TX through high impact and lifelong giving -  we now have a state-of-the-art handheld sonogram machine, new computers and printer! The sonogram sends results directly to our volunteer radiologist. This will speed up patient assessments and increase the quality of care we deliver. Thank you WIP for supporting better health in Arlington!

SUPPORTING OPEN ARMS HEALTH CLINIC'S Flex Rooms Readiness: New Specialists Program

Too many of our patients and their families lack affordable access to basic dermatology, physical therapy, podiatry and other routine specialty services – care that could greatly improve overall health outcomes, job and school performance, and quality of life. While we refer patients to specialists for help, patients with painful teeth, skin conditions, back issues, poor vision or foot problems typically have to wait months to get care.

For those with chronic conditions such as diabetes, an untreated minor dental or skin problem can quickly escalate into an ER visit.

THANKS TO THE SID W. RICHARDSON FOUNDATION and WOMEN INSPIRING PHILANTHROPY, Open Arms Health Clinic will now offer on-site patient appointments to specialists including...

• PHYSICAL THERAPY

• DERMATOLOGY

• PODIATRY

Adding to our current specialists in:

• ORTHOPEDICS

GYNECOLOGY

Through generous grants from our donors, Open Arms can now provide pre-emptive care and faster relief to our patients with musculoskeletal pain, skin conditions or foot problems. We can also serve new patients without access to affordable specialty services – expanding our patient base and our clinic’s positive impact on the health of those less fortunate in the Arlington community.

Patients can make appointments by calling 817-496-1919.
